Amateur Shorts is an organisation concerned with dismantling the barriers around young filmmakers and actors getting experience in filmmaking, as well as having the ability to get as much experience as they can for CV experience for that big job in the industry.

We offer those a part of our organisation access to our equipment (cameras, editing computers & software, etc) for the ability to be able to make films without pricing them out of getting some experience in filmmaking.

Bringing together filmmakers and aspiring actors living in and around the London area at our monthly socials and fundraising events, we provide them with the space to meet like-minded creatives, network with each other, and make short films together.

We go by the ethic that the best way to get your foot into the door of the film industry, is by making as many films as you can.

For, every filmmaker was once an amateur.
